Sunny Side Kitchen is a mom and pop owned and operated breakfast-lunch restaurant in Escondido. Very friendly and they use very fresh ingredients and are likely to run out of some items by the early afternoon. It is a fairly small restaurant so if you come at lunch you might need to get takeout or take one of the picnic benches in the back. Great paninis, quiche, and coffee.
Sunny Side Kitchen is such a nice place. Their pesto panini and Tuscan panini are to die for. Best pesto panini I’ve had! Guy at the register and the rest of the staff are so nice and helpful if you asked them about the menu. Love this place.
I just started working in Escondido and finally tried Sunny Side Kitchen. Honestly, the food feels like a hug. the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo was delicious and made my day. It's a local family-owned spot and I got to meet the owner, Bob, who was so nice. The whole staff is sweet and you can really tell they put a lot of love into the place. I'll definitely be back!
