If you're wandering around Escondido looking for a proper Irish pub, stop wandering—your luck has already changed.
I popped into O'Sullivan's Irish Pub, met the owner, and she was as warm and welcoming as a fire on a rainy day in Dublin. The food was absolutely fabulous, and I have to give a standing ovation to the lobster bisque. Sweet mercy... if that soup were any better, it'd probably qualify for Irish citizenshi

Busy on a Friday night, but server Anna was great. Ordered Shepherd's Pie and a Guinness. Could have had some more veggies in it, but still tasty. Maybe too picky, but it was made with ground beef - a Shepherd's Pie is made with lamb. With beef, it's a Cottage Pie. But I'd still go back.

This is my third visit. The food here is excellent. Guinness Beef Stew is hearty, flavorful, and just a cup is filling as a meal. Rueben sandwich is great. Shepherds pie is also very good. Drinks good of course, though the iced tea was a bit bitter. However, I don't think anyone comes to an Irish pub for iced tea. 😎
