Seafood tacos with indoor and patio seating. Free parking available. We came here for a late lunch after the San Diego Safari Park and were greeted by a friendly waitress. I had the garlic shrimp, smoked tuna, and fish tacos. I’d highly recommend the smoked tuna taco but all of them were tasty. They had guitarist playing live music indoors, which was really nice. Credit cards accepted.
This location has been a variety of fast and Mexican style food for years. I walked in expecting an underwhelming 'berto's type experience, and instead found a waiter who seated me in a clean airy restaurant with a small bar, and TVs tuned to sports and news. First time in and I like it. Nice ambiance, great outdoor seating, and the food was good. Started with a tuna chicharrón. Tasted like it was made from the smoked tuna. It was good, but I wouldn’t get it again, because I just don’t usually cook my tuna hard like that. I liked the smoked tuna taco more. It was a little softer and the flavors were just right.
